Operations Assistant (Events)

There is an opportunity to join our operations team, looking after the logistics of pre planning and delivering a variety of exhibitions and events. We are looking for an Operations Assistant for our Twickenham office, who is keen to learn within a fast-paced environment. You will be working within the Operations Team across a number of Easyfairs exhibitions, based in the UK and overseas, managing Exhibitor orders and assisting with Exhibitor queries.

This role requires you to work from our Twickenham office 3 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week after you have completed your initial training period.

Skills, experience and attributes required are:

  • Ideally 3 - 6 months’ work experience in the events sector or in a similar customer facing role

  • High standards of communication via email and over the phone

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills

  • Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure

  • Competence in Microsoft Office products including ability to use Excel

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Coordinate and manage exhibitor stand orders, assisting exhibitors with their pre-show orders to achieve revenue targets

  • Point of contact for exhibitors & their stand and show queries

  • Liaising with exhibitors to ensure all receive the highest level of customer service pre-show, onsite and post-show.

  • Support / management of exhibitor manuals

  • Regular floorplan and exhibitor list audits

  • Administrative support & form collation

  • Supporting the operations team pre show and onsite during the show seasons. Predominantly UK based with potential for onsite working at overseas shows.
