Operations Assistant (Events)
Easyfairs UK & Global is a rapidly growing exhibition and events business having recently made a number of acquisitions and with many global launches in the pipeline. We are a dynamic and exciting team to join, with great opportunities for driven, energetic and passionate individuals!
There is an opportunity to join our operations team, looking after the logistics of pre planning and delivering a variety of exhibitions and events. We are looking for an Operations Assistant for our Twickenham office, who is keen to learn within a fast-paced environment. You will be working within the Operations Team across a number of Easyfairs exhibitions, based in the UK and overseas, managing Exhibitor orders and assisting with Exhibitor queries.
This role requires you to work from our Twickenham office 3 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week after you have completed your initial training period.
Skills, experience and attributes required are:
Ideally 3 - 6 months’ work experience in the events sector or in a similar customer facing role
High standards of communication via email and over the phone
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
Competence in Microsoft Office products including ability to use Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities will also include:
Coordinate and manage exhibitor stand orders, assisting exhibitors with their pre-show orders to achieve revenue targets
Point of contact for exhibitors & their stand and show queries
Liaising with exhibitors to ensure all receive the highest level of customer service pre-show, onsite and post-show.
Support / management of exhibitor manuals
Regular floorplan and exhibitor list audits
Administrative support & form collation
Supporting the operations team pre show and onsite during the show seasons. Predominantly UK based with potential for onsite working at overseas shows.
