HGV Technician
Location: Erith
Salary: £25.00 per hour plus bonus and overtime
Shifts: 13.00 to 21.30 Mon to Fri plus every other Saturday morning

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client’s workshop in Erith. The successful HGV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.

Uniform and PPEHGV Mechanic Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.HGV Mechanic Requirements
You will need to have experience as a vehicle technician and a relevant and up to date qualification. City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is essential
Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGV's
HGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferred
Experience with Tail lifts is desirable
