Stores Operative

Job Description

FM Conway is currently recruiting for a proactive and reliable Stores Operative to join our Yard division. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and well-organised yard and stores service. Providing vital support to the division’s operating from this site and helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Purley Oaks depot in Croydon, Greater London.

The duties of the Stores Operative role will include:

\n\n

- Ensuring all stock levels are maintained and can be accounted for.

\n\n

- Ensuring the whole yard is always kept clean and tidy.

\n\n

- Working with the Supervisor to ensure the yard is compliant with current Health & Safety legislation.

\n\n

- Issuing materials and stocked items once the correct documentation has been received and processed.

\n\n

What skills and experience do you need?

\n\n

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Operative . The successful candidate will have a good understanding of health and safety practices, particularly within highways and building materials environments. You will ideally have a background in stock control procedures and warehouse operations. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Experience operating a forklift or loading shovel would be an advantage for this role.
