Business Development Manager - Supply Chain Services (EMEA) Salary: up to £75,000 depending on skills and experience Location: London About the RoleIn our Service Supply Chain (SSC) offering, we bring together cutting-edge proprietary technology, our clients’ own systems, and deep industry expertise to design, deliver, and execute Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) or fully Managed Service solutions. These cover every stage of the service lifecycle - Plan, Deliver, and Recover - enabling our clients to strengthen operational resilience, unlock efficiencies, and elevate the customer experience. In this role, you will work as both a strategic partner and trusted advisor. You’ll collaborate closely with our business development team, acting as a Service Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME), to design innovative and resilient solutions that not only meet but exceed our clients’ expectations. Your work will directly contribute to transforming client supply chains into competitive advantages. We're Looking For:
An experienced Business Development Manager with a proven history of identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing high-value deals. You understand the strategic role a well-optimized Service Supply Chain plays in a company’s success and are skilled at translating that understanding into actionable solutions. You’re a natural networker, equally confident in boardroom discussions and hands-on problem-solving, and you bring both commercial acumen and operational expertise to the table. The Work:
- Develop and nurture constructive, long-term relationships with internal leadership and high-value target accounts across EMEA.
- Focus on multiple sectors including Technology, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Auto-Mobility, Engineering & Manufacturing, and more.
- Establish meaningful connections with key decision-makers, ensuring strong engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify new opportunities and design tailored Service Supply Chain solutions that address client-specific needs and deliver measurable ROI.
- Lead solution presentations, negotiations, and contract finalization to successfully close strategic deals.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM database, tracking every stage of the sales pursuit process.
- Monitor and analyze market, economic, and legal trends to anticipate challenges and shape forward-thinking sales strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Drive new business development within the EMEA markets.
- Provide strategic Service Supply Chain solutions to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Gain a thorough understanding of client short-term and long-term strategic requirements through direct engagement with executive teams.
- Offer data-driven recommendations on optimal sales strategies based on client interactions and market insights.
- Represent the organization as a trusted partner and advisor, ensuring long-term value creation.
- Champion the effort to grow and maintain the company’s primary revenue base while fostering lasting client partnerships.
- Translate complex data and operational requirements into compelling, professional sales presentations.
- Strong industry experience in Supply Chain, and Service Supply Chain or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) - preferably in areas such as customer support, order management, warehousing, and logistics.
- Recognised Subject Matter Expert in Service Supply Chain with a proven track record of delivering impactful, consultative solutions.
- Experience in selling SaaS or technology-enabled solutions is a plus.
- Proven ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels, from operational teams to C-suite executives.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a history of structuring win-win agreements.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to the highest standards of professional ethics and community contribution.
- Consultative sales experience in the Service Supply Chain industry.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions that drive measurable improvements in performance and profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to transform prospects into long-term, high-value clients.
