What you’ll own: Everything that keeps DCA running, scaling and improving and everything that will get us to the next level.
Full accountability for platform architecture, engineering delivery, AI strategy, technical governance, system financials and the technology talent that makes it all happen. You’ll be heavily KPI’d on reliability, speed of delivery, platform quality and the measurable impact of your technology choices.
Salary : From £150,000 per annum DOE
Work location: London office based (up to 2 days WFH)

What you’ll lead:
- Platform Ownership: You own DCA’s platform end-to-end — performance, stability, cost, security, compliance and every architectural decision that matters.
- Engineering & Delivery: High-velocity, high-quality engineering with predictable delivery, clear KPIs and rock-solid QA.
- AI at the Core: Embed AI across our engineering tooling, platform capabilities and patient and clinician journeys. Make AI the accelerant, not an afterthought.
- Rebuild & Modernise: Drive our platform modernisation, cloud-native re-architecture and technical roadmap with a bias for action.
- Operational Excellence: Uptime, resilience, incident reduction, automation and continuous improvement — owned and delivered.
- People & Culture: Lead, grow and inspire a high-performing technology function. Build the team DCA needs today and for the future.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven technology leadership at CTO or equivalent executive level, ideally within a high-growth digital business.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior technology leadership roles, including direct ownership of platform architecture and engineering delivery.
- Demonstrated success driving large-scale platform modernisation and cloud-native transformation programmes.
- Experience leading complex technology functions within a cloud-based Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. Azure, Dynamics 365, Sentinel)...or equivalent enterprise platforms
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships and third-party development partnerships.
- Deep understanding of AI, machine learning and intelligent automation, with a track record of embedding these in product and engineering contexts.
- Experience leading and scaling diverse, multi-disciplinary technology teams across internal and external resources.
Desirable
- Experience working in healthcare, regulated or mission-critical digital environments.
- Background in clinical-facing technology products or digital health platforms.
- Experience establishing or maturing an AI strategy and governance framework at organisational level.
- Exposure to board-level technology governance, risk management and enterprise security frameworks
