As a Senior Engineer – Quality Engineering you will have a strong SDET skillset to lead quality for our digital banking platforms. The role focuses on AI driven testing, automation, resilience, and ensuring our retail banking services stay secure, performant, and compliant.

What you will do:

• AI and Automation Drive AI assisted testing, autonomous test agents, and automated MI for real time quality insight.

• Quality Governance Set quality standards and guardrails and oversee delivery from our SI partner.

• Quality as Code Embed automated security, performance, accessibility, and resilience testing into CI and CD pipelines.

• Leadership Mentor engineers, build strong partnerships, and ensure compliance with FCA and GDPR through automated evidence capture.

What you will need:

• SDET Expertise Five plus years in automation using Java, Python, or TypeScript with tools like Playwright, Selenium or Appium.

• AI and Data Literacy Experience using LLMs or agents for test generation and data led quality reporting.

• Modern Delivery Strong CI and CD skills in containerised environments using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Domain Knowledge Regulated financial experience, API and microservices understanding, and oversight of SI partner quality.
