Kitchen Porter

Monday to Friday, 40 hours p/week, £30,784 per annum

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and assist with ensuring the kitchen is running smoothly and is clean, safe and hygienic at all times.

Our Kitchen Porter will be responsible to ensure dishes, equipment and crockery are cleaned in a timely manner, to help put away and store deliveries, ensure bins are emptied and clean, and assist the kitchen team with ensuring clean equipment is available at all times. You will be joining our team of porters in our production kitchen based in South Bermondsey, working as part of a supportive and collaborative team where every role makes a difference.

Please note, heavy lifting is required for this role.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday 9am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-5pm.

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter who:

Has previous experience as a kitchen porter in an industrial/fast paced kitchen

Is friendly and enthusiastic

Good level of English comprehension

Able to take direction and use own initiative

Willing to help wherever needed

Salary: £30,784 per annum (£14.80 p/h)
