Interim HR Advisor

A London University are looking for an Interim HR Advisor to provide first–line advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. The role will play a key part in organisational change activity, including redeployment, contract variations, exits, absence management and employee relations support. The role offers hybrid working.

Description

An Interim HR Advisor to:

• Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR policy and employee relations matters.
• Provide advice on maternity, adoption, paternity and other family leave cases.
• Support absence management processes, liaising with Occupational Health where required.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contractual changes and leavers.
• Coordinate redeployment, redundancy, fixed–term contract endings and retirement processes.
• Conduct and coordinate exit interviews and employee departure administration.
• Draft HR documentation including contracts, variation letters and employee correspondence.
• Work closely with recruitment and HR administration teams to deliver an effective HR service.
• Support organisational change programmes and implementation of new operating models.
• Manage multiple priorities across a large and diverse stakeholder group.

Profile

An Interim HR Advisor with:

• Previous full employee lifecycle experience
• Strong employee lifecycle and generalist HR knowledge.
• Confident advising managers on policy, process and employee relations matters.
• Experience within higher education, public sector or similarly complex organisations would be advantageous.
• Able to start at short notice

Job Offer

• Up to GBP175 day rate
