My client, a leading Insurance brand, are looking to hire a Finance Systems Analyst to join their Finance team in London. This role will support the finance team by maintaining and developing their financial reports, and analysing their future reporting needs
Job Title: Finance Systems Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week)
Industry: Insurance
Duration: 12-month FTC (temp-to-perm potential)
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain financial and operational reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI, and Smart View, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and detailed data validation to support Finance decision making and deliver meaningful insights.
- Manage and update Autonomous Data Warehouse reporting structures, maintaining data accuracy while leading data cleansing initiatives such as supplier merges and multicurrency corrections.
- Support Finance system enhancements through testing, design input, and continuous improvement activities, while resolving reporting and system issues via the Finance Helpdesk.
- Contribute to broader Finance operations by assisting with data-fixing projects, ensuring data integrity, and providing ongoing reporting and system support.
Preferred background:
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance modules), and proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle BI/OTBI.
- Solid SQL skills for data analysis, querying, and troubleshooting within databases/warehouses.
- Experience supporting the maintenance of finance and accounting systems and working with finance teams.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of building collaborative relationships with a broad range of team members and colleagues.
