JOB DESCRIPTION

Graduates for Teaching assistant posts for a fantastic school in South London. The school is looking for graduates to come in and take on teaching assistant positions within the school across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for graduates who are looking to go into teaching or someone with a keen interest in working in a school. The school would like to look over graduate CVs and meet graduates for a paid trial or interviews over the next couple weeks.

The Ideal TA

We are looking for bright, energetic graduates who either have experience working in secondary schools or have an interest in working with children/young people and possibly looking to go in to teaching as a career.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Working with and supporting students who require additional support in the classroom
• Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus.
• Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
