How will you make an impact in this role
Key Responsibilities
Creates and maintains comprehensive test data sets to support various testing phases including Systems Integration Regression and Performance Testing ensuring accurate and reliable test results
Continuously monitors and tracks the resolution of defects collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective fixes
Actively engages in design discussions to identify potential defects and provides recommendations for refining user story backlog requirements ensuring high-quality deliverables from the outset
Designs documents and analyzes key quality assurance metrics such as defect counts test results and test status providing insights and recommendations for process improvements
Understands supports and actively contributes to core quality principles fostering a culture of quality within the team and ensuring adherence to code quality standards and best practices
Develops enhances and maintains continuous integration/continuous deployment automation processes contributing to the teams automation strategy and ensuring seamless integration and execution of automated tests within the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline
Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Work Experience:
Software engineering and development experience or a related job with a focus on quality engineering
Experience in writing test cases running functional automated or performance tests and managing and mitigating defects
Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (test defect reporting and metrics etc.)
Experience in automation and testing in a continuous deployment/continuous integration environment
Experience in quality scanning tools ability to baseline and measure on-going quality metrics and display via Dashboards
Experience in working with the core tools used in the planning analyzing crafting building testing configuring and maintaining of assigned application(s)
Experience in application programming interface testing accessibility testing chaos testing security testing performance testing user interface testing disaster recovery and relevant frameworks
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
Knowledge of test methodologies automation testing tools.
