We’re looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join a high-impact transformation programme within the financial services sector. This role will focus specifically on aligning and integrating compliance processes, controls, and frameworks across multiple business areas as part of a broader organizational change initiative.

You will be responsible for driving structured delivery of compliance change initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders (up to MD level) across the business. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major integration project within a highly regulated environment.

Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels—including MDs and business heads—to ensure project alignment and progress.

Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges across workstreams.

Produce clear plans, status updates, RAID logs, and governance materials to keep all parties aligned.

Troubleshoot delivery issues, facilitate solutions, and ensure teams stay on track against target dates.

Ensure full compliance alignment across both entities post-merger.

Proven track record delivering complex compliance or regulatory change initiatives.

Ability to influence and lead senior stakeholders (up to MD level) to achieve aligned outcomes.

Clear examples of driving structured delivery against hard deadlines, troubleshooting delivery issues, and ensuring accountability.

Highly organized, delivery-focused, and detail-oriented.

Background in Compliance (either functionally or in a previous PM role).

Experience working on M&A integrations or similar cross-organizational change efforts.

About Barclays

Diversity

Barclays aims to foster a culture where individuals of all backgrounds feel confident in bringing their whole selves to work, feel included and their talents are nurtured, empowering them to contribute fully to Barclays vision and goals.

Hybrid Working

Barclays is currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Barclays is flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. Barclays also has a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances

Your Benefits

As a contract employee of Randstad Sourceright, you’ll receive a wide range of financial and personal benefits. There’s enrolment in a pension plan (after 12 weeks on assignment) and holiday pay.
