Fixed Income Trader
Work closely with internal teams to align trading activities with organisational objectives.Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Fixed Income Trader will play a key role in establishing and developing the bank's Fixed Income trading desk.Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and growing the Fixed Income trading capability.
- Trading Government and Corporate Bonds across relevant markets.
- Managing Rates, FX and Money Market activity.
- Supporting the bank's sterling lending and hedging requirements.
- Contributing to the design of trading strategies, processes, and risk frameworks.
- Working closely with Treasury and senior stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
- Helping define the future direction, product coverage, and market focus of the desk.
- Supporting the expansion of the trading function as the team grows over time.
