Escalator Engineer (Nights)

Spend your nights ensuring smooth passenger flow across London's busiest transport hubs as an Escalator Engineer. In this hands-on role, you'll maintain, service, and repair escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers, keeping critical infrastructure reliable and safe. Work a structured 12-hour shift pattern (19:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off) with no call-outs, focusing within the Greater London area.

Key Details

• Pay: Up to £85,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level, Paid Door to Door
• Hours: 12-hour shifts with 45-minute unpaid break
• Location: Greater London (including Gatwick & Stansted rail stations)
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotation

The Work

• Maintain, service, and repair escalators and moving walkways
• Perform risk assessments and maintain site log cards
• Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care
• Work on systems from manufacturers such as KONE, Schindler, Anlev, and Otis

What You Need

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering
• Experience: Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential

Desirable

• Experience working within the rail or transport industry
• Exposure to high-profile infrastructure projects
