Kitchen Assistant London Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 29000
Hours: 40 per week
A stunning B&I location in Central London for an international law firm. Catering for approximately 200 people daily. We offer an extensive hot and cold breakfast and lunch and lots of high end hospitality. The role is a Monday to Friday operation.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in London.
You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
Key skills:
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great team player
- Receive deliveries
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
- Kitchen Porter and Goods Receiver experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Can do attitude.
- Organisation Skills.
Knowledge / competencies:
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
