Senior Acoustic Consultant
Senior Acoustic Consultant Location: London Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE Aztrum is proud to be working with a respected and fast-growing environmental consultancy renowned for its expertise across acoustics, air quality, and broader environmental impact assessments. With a strong presence in the UK market, this multi-disciplinary firm supports a diverse client base, including major infrastructure projects, urban regeneration schemes, transport developments, and mixed-use commercial and residential projects. Established by a team of industry experts, this consultancy has built a reputation for delivering technically robust, commercially aware, and environmentally responsible solutions to issues within the built environment. With a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture and strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability, they now seek a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team in London. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you’ll be integral to the delivery of acoustic and vibration consultancy services. You’ll work closely with other team members, project managers, and clients across a range of high-profile developments. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting environmental noise and vibration assessments for planning and infrastructure projects Carrying out site-based measurements, data collection, and analysis Undertaking acoustic modelling and mapping using CadnaA and ODEON Preparing high-quality technical reports, including Environmental Statement chapters and planning submissions Engaging with clients, design teams, and external stakeholders to develop pragmatic and innovative noise mitigation strategies Staying abreast of evolving regulations, standards, and best practice guidance Supporting junior staff development and peer review of technical outputs where appropriateCandidate Requirements: We are looking for a proactive and technically competent consultant who is ready to take the next step in their career. To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience as an Acoustic Consultant, ideally with a strong background in environmental noise A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related subject Experience with acoustic modelling software (CadnaA, ODEON or similar) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical capabilities and attention to technical detail A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site and client meetingsWhy Join?
