As a Part Time 3.5T Delivery Driver based in West Drayton you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5T Automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within a 20 mile radius of the branch

• The number of deliveries will vary day to day - mainly to new build construction sites but also residential customers and other businesses

• Carrying out vehicle checks

• Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks

• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a part time, permanent position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07.00am - 12.00pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Full UK Manual/Automatic Driving Licence

• Previous multidrop driving is preferred

• Excellent communication skills

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices

• To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch

• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
