KS2 Teacher - Harrow

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and adaptable KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Harrow, starting ASAP. This role is suitable for a teacher who enjoys working across Key Stage 2 and is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion, high expectations, and collaborative working. Staff are well supported by an experienced leadership team, and there is a positive culture of professional development and shared best practice.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will create a positive learning environment that encourages independence, resilience, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum

  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN

  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations

  • Create a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work closely with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

  • Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and whole-school initiatives

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2

  • Be confident delivering a broad and balanced curriculum

  • Have strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

  • Be committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing

  • Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
