A friendly and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a part-time, fixed-term basis from October half term 2025 until July 2026 . This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support pupils at the start of their primary education journey.

About the Role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will provide engaging and high-quality learning experiences that help pupils transition smoothly from the EYFS into Key Stage 1. You’ll foster a love of learning and help pupils develop strong early literacy and numeracy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
- Participate in school life and professional development activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
- Good understanding of the National Curriculum and early learning principles
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach
