Store Manager - Merton & Surrounding Areas

We're looking for 2 exceptional retail leaders to take ownership of high-volume stores within our Merton and surrounding areas, Southwest London region. This is an opportunity for an experienced Store Manager from a major retail, department store, or multi-site retail environment who grows with leading large teams, delivering commercial results, and developing future talent!

What You're Responsible For
As Store Manager, you'll lead all aspects of a large-scale retail operation, delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a large management and associate population
Creating a culture focused on engagement, accountability, and results
Managing large-volume operations across merchandising, stock flow, customer service, and store presentation
Driving performance, sales growth, and profitability
Building strong succession plans and developing future leaders
Driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance across all areas of the business
Analysing business performance and seeing opportunities to improve sales and productivity
Partnering with district leadership to deliver regional and company objectives
About You
An established retail leader who has experience managing large teams and
sophisticated retail operations within major retail businesses. You know what fast paced looks like and it's where you get your energy!
You'll bring:
A minimum of 7 years' leadership experience managing large teams within a high-volume retail, department store, big-box retail, or multi-site retail
environment.
Proven success leading teams of 50+ colleagues through periods of growth, change, and operational complexity
A strong commercial approach with experience managing significant sales turnover and delivering business results
Experience developing managers and building robust succession pipelines
The ability to lead in fast-paced environments where priorities can change quickly
A passion for people leadership, coaching, and talent development
A customer-first approach combined with a focus on operational excellence
Locations
We are particularly interested in hearing from Store Managers and senior retail leaders who can support our stores across Merton and the surrounding Southwest London areas, Richmond, Clapham, Kingston.
Candidates based outside of the Greater London area who are commutable to the Southwest location are welcome to apply.
