Chiller Engineer
Job Title: Chiller Engineer Location: London Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Job Overview: Are you an experienced Chiller Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? If you’re passionate about technical excellence and delivering outstanding service, this role offers a rewarding and progressive career path. Key Responsibilities of a Chiller Engineer:
- Commission, service, and maintain a variety of industrial and commercial chiller and HVAC systems.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including routine inspections and cleaning, to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on mechanical and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
- Maintain consistently high service standards across all tasks and client interactions.
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation for all work undertaken.
- Provide technical advice, support, and occasional training to clients and colleagues.
- Follow all health, safety, and company compliance requirements always.
- Hands-on experience working with a range of chiller equipment and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration principles, chiller operations, and HVAC systems.
- FGAS certification (essential).
- Industry-recognised qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- A genuine passion for engineering with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Professional attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Full, valid UK driving licence required.
