Cleaning Area Manager
As Cleaning Area Manager, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
- Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
- An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights. You must have Right to Work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Willingness to work at height.
