The Role: They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level in their specialist subject. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Develop and implement engaging teaching materials and problem-solving exercises.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the mathematics department.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching A-Level mathematics.
- Knowledge of recent developments in mathematics education.
- Enthusiasm for extracurricular activities related to mathematics.
