Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Band 7 Ward Manager on Toni & Guy Ward at Kings College Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic Ward Manager to lead our team of both skilled and more junior nurses.
You must be a Registered Children’s Nurse with excellent clinical skills, self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to providing high standards of care for all our paediatric patients, their families and carers. The ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be an experienced Paediatric Nurse and have a proven track record of being able to provide leadership to ensure the highest possible standards, supported by a team of peer Matrons, Lead Nurse and Head of Nursing.
To be eligible for this post you must be a registered nurse with clinical experience within a children’s ward, worked in the capacity of a band 6 nurse and must hold a mentorship qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
