Live-in Housekeeper

Location: Knightsbridge, London
Salary : £40,000–£45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm, plus Saturday 11:00am–1:00pm (handover to weekend housekeeper)
Accommodation : Private bedroom and bathroom

Our client is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised live-in Housekeeper to manage the day-to-day upkeep of a substantial private residence. This is a key role within the household, requiring a hands-on, discreet, and professional individual who can maintain exceptional standards across a large, multi-level home.

The property is a five-storey residence with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a swimming pool, and multiple staircases. The ideal candidate will be confident managing such a space independently and take pride in delivering meticulous housekeeping.

Duties will include:

• Performing full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining a spotless home
• Managing laundry and ironing, including wardrobe care and linen upkeep
• Conducting deep cleaning and seasonal organisation
• Overseeing household supplies, managing deliveries, and liaising with vendors
• Occasional light cooking and assisting with meal preparation
• Dog walking and general pet care, particularly when the principals are away
• Supporting pet care when guests bring dogs
• Ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards at all times
• Working with discretion, professionalism, and a proactive, hands-on approach

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience working within a large private household
• Confident managing a multi-storey property independently
• Strong attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
• Comfortable with dog care and walking
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• French language skills would be a bonus but not essential
• Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times
