We are seeking an ambitious English ECT to join a thriving Communication Faculty at an Outstanding all-through academy in Redbridge. This Full-Time, Permanent position starts in September 2026 and is a bespoke opportunity for a high-calibre practitioner to begin their career in a high-performing setting. You will deliver an ambitious curriculum that brings literature to life, supported by a structured ECT Induction Programme designed to help you achieve excellence from day one.
About the School This Outstanding all-through academy (ages 3–18) is part of a successful Trust of 7 academies. Responsibilities
Teach inspiring English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
Participate fully in the Trust’s bespoke ECT Induction Programme, including regular mentoring and CPL
Foster a love for reading and analytical thinking within an academically focused workspace
Use the school's superb modern resources to deliver a creative and rigorous curriculum
Contribute to the wider life of the school, fostering a supportive and inclusive community
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in English or a related subject
Attainment of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026
A pioneering spirit and a commitment to academic and personal development
Must have the right to work in the UK
