Commissioning Engineer

Location: London & Southern Region (with travel as required)

We are growing our presence in the UK and delivering some exciting, high profile BMS projects In London. As part of this expansion, we’re looking for Commissioning Engineers who are ready to play a key role in making buildings smarter and more sustainable.

As a commissioning Engineer with SAUTER Group, you’ll be hands on in bringing our systems to life- fine tuning them to endure they perform perfectly from day one. You’ll work with project teams, clients and contractors to ensure every solution we deliver exceeds expectations.

From site commissioning to system optimisation, your work will have a real impact No two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Commissioning advanced BMS systems across major projects in and around London
• Working closely with project managers and clients to ensure seamless delivery
• Testing, fault finding, and fine-tuning system performance
• Adjusting software, graphics, and control parameters in line with project needs
• Supporting and training end-users to get the best from their new systems
• Keeping accurate records and contributing to quality documentation
• Championing safety and compliance at every stage of delivery

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in a commissioning, service, or project engineering role within the BMS sector
• A strong grasp of HVAC systems and how they interact with BMS controls
• Familiarity with open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or M-Bus
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms like Tridium, Trend, Siemens, or Distech
• An ability to read and interpret control panel drawings
• Good working knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure
• Confidence, curiosity, and a desire to do things right — first time
• A full UK driving licence (preferred)
