Learning Support Assistant
Support with task initiation, concentration, and completion of work.
Encourage independence while offering reassurance and structure where needed.
Work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to implement and refine support strategies.
Monitor and share progress to inform future learning plans. About You: Previous experience supporting pupils with ASC (in secondary or upper KS2 preferred).
Strong understanding of strategies to support focus, organisation, and learning.
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to building positive relationships.
Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills.
Able to take initiative while following direction from teaching staff.
