🎯 Role: Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help us evolve the Borderless platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be writing clean, scalable code while contributing to major rebuild efforts and long-term engineering projects.

You'll work closely with our Engineering Manager, Product, and the wider cross-functional team to improve platform performance, reliability, and design. This role is essential to unlocking team velocity and addressing key technical constraints as we scale.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Contribute to the rebuild and refinement of our core platform
• Write clean, scalable, well-documented code in TypeScript , React , and SQL
• Design and maintain complex data models for performance and extensibility
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Ops, CS, and Engineering
• Identify and resolve platform bottlenecks, technical debt, and stability issues
• Contribute to architectural and data design decisions

✅ You Should Apply If

• You have strong experience building full-stack web applications in TypeScript and React
• You’ve worked with large-scale, complex relational databases and understand trade-offs around normalisation , query efficiency , and data design patterns
• You think deeply about the structure and performance of data (data access vs data query trade-offs)

• You’re excited by the opportunity to shape the foundation of a growing product and team

🧪 Interview Process

1. 30 - minute screening call with Talent
2. 60 - minute interview with Engineering Manager
3. 60 - minute technical interview (pair programming task)
4. 90 - minute Final onsite with Engineering Manager, CTO, and CEO
