Nanny in Camberwell, Job ID J22012
A warm and experienced nanny is needed by a family in Camberwell, London to care for their two young children, aged 2 years and 5 months. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and be confident caring for both a toddler and a baby. German would be a big bonus for this role. The family has two friendly dogs, a Labrador and an Italian Water Dog, but no pet care is required. Occasional stays in Cornwall will be required, with a private self-contained flat with a separate entrance provided during trips. A driver would be a bonus, and a car can be provided.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Some days may be 8am to 5pm, to be confirmed. Additional babysitting and overnight stays may be required when needed.
Duties include:
- caring for both children and ensuring their safety, well-being, and development
- assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the baby
- maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- supporting the toddler with potty training
- engaging the children in interactive play and age-appropriate activities
- taking the children to the park and on suitable outings
- encouraging early literacy through reading
- supporting the children's educational growth and development
- keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- cleaning and tidying the kitchen after meals and at the end of the day
- preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- supporting the children with feeding
- carrying out other child-related housekeeping duties as required
This Camberwell based family is looking for someone to start in September.
