Every day, our teams across the world bring to life our purpose: to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the ExtraOrdinary in each of us.
We are united by a common goal - to reimagine the future of beauty.
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about developing people and creating exceptional learning experiences? At Sephora, we believe our people are our greatest strength and we’re looking for a Retail Training Manager to help our UK store teams shine.
In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll lead the end-to-end design and delivery of impactful learning experiences for our retail teams. You’ll be responsible for building a dynamic training calendar that supports both new store openings and ongoing development across our existing network. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners in HR, Store Leadership, and our Europe-wide Sephora University team to deliver engaging and effective learning, both in-person and digitally.
You’ll also champion our unique Sephora culture by embedding best-in-class coaching methods, empowering our expert communities, and fostering a true sense of belonging across our store network.
You Will Also Be Responsible For:
- Designing and delivering a comprehensive annual training calendar aligned with regional strategy and UK priorities
- Managing all aspects of training across onboarding, client experience, product knowledge, and leadership development
- Coordinating both classroom-based and digital learning, as well as in-store coaching and follow-up
- Tracking performance metrics and reporting on training effectiveness to senior leaders
- Ensuring seamless coordination with brand partners on training activity and expectations
- Acting as a key point of contact between the UK and wider European training community
- Maintaining and optimising digital learning platforms and content for ease of use across store teams
- Coaching and developing the UK Retail Training Specialist to support long-term talent development
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring a strong background in learning and development, ideally within a retail, beauty, or service-driven environment. You’re energised by people and passionate about creating high-impact learning experiences that inspire and empower. You’ll be comfortable working across both strategic planning and hands-on delivery, and you know how to balance structure with creativity. Whether facilitating a leadership session, designing digital learning, or coaching in store, you bring warmth, clarity, and confidence. You’ll also thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative culture where innovation and curiosity are encouraged.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:
- Experience designing and implementing training programmes across multiple locations
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with a flair for storytelling and engagement
- Familiarity with modern learning techniques including digital learning tools and coaching frameworks
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping stakeholders aligned
- A strong sense of initiative and ownership, with the ability to influence at all levels
- A natural passion for retail, team development, and client experience
- A values-driven approach, with a genuine interest in building inclusive, people-first cultures
