This role reports onsite in our London office.

The Role

Moonbug has grown rapidly and is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Corporate Reporting Manager to join the growing finance function. This role will have a breadth ofresponsibility across primarily external reporting, maintenance of internal controls, and technical accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage timely quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Key point of contact for external auditors ensuring annual audits run smoothly
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and footnotes
• Liaising with external financial statement preparation & company secretarial teams to ensure compliance with local filing requirements
• Ensure reporting is compliant with the relevant accounting standards (primarily UK & US GAAP) and regulatory requirements
• Assistance with optimising financial reporting systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with management accounts, tax, legal, and treasury teams
• Assistance with providing technical accounting guidance and support
• Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting and disclosure
• Completion of other regular ad hoc reporting requirements

Requirements

• Experience with the statutory audit process and an understanding of the suitable deliverables
• Good technical GAAP accounting knowledge
• Able to understand the bigger picture and how Finance's inputs and outputs can affect the business
• Experience working within a fast growth business environment, able to prioritise in a fast moving & dynamic environment
• Experience working with professionals of all levels, from juniors to senior management
• Strong interpersonal and team bonding skills to contribute to company values and team culture
• Proactive and hands-on achiever, with good attention to detail
• Experience of international groups, foreign currencies and reporting to tight timetables
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build models, working with vlookups and other advanced formulas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of NetSuite and / or Caseware would be a bonus

Qualifications

ACA, CIMA, ACCA Qualified or equivalent 

Experience in media industry – preferable

Practice experience – preferable

USGAAP experience – would be a bonus
