Senior Developer Analyst

We're looking for talented Senior Developer Analyst to work with a new Fintech client of ours. If you'd like the opportunity to join our exciting team and think you have the skills to match, then please get in touch!

Your primary focus will be helping our client with “Business As Usual” development, support and maintenance of their platforms. You will also lead an elastic team of Developers and QAs that will work on discrete projects as and when needed. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to work on our agentic AI platform as a Key Developer.

The role involves close collaboration with the client around their requirements and development needs, as well as fellow engineers. You will be required to analyse requirements, design architecture and solutions, deliver robust code, and lead a small team through projects. Additionally, you will be required to work in a Developer capacity on our agentic AI platform, helping with bugs, integrations, and new features, as well as contributing to the roadmap.

The work is fully remote, with fixed working hours and regular participation in team events to keep collaboration strong.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Skills and Experience

• Skilled in Java 8 and Spring

• Skilled in .NET

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

• Experience or knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript technologies

• Skilled in developing both server-side and client-side web applications

• Comfortable working with legacy monolithic codebases

• Quick to learn new technologies and domains

• Excellent analysis skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a pragmatic, client-focussed approach

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Ability to lead a small team through projects

• Advocates for clean code principles and consistently aims to improve the codebase while maintaining a focus on timely delivery

• Takes ownership of the quality of their work, ensuring it meets high standards before it is released

• Experience working with financial software products is a plus, as is experience or interest in AI, particularly LLMs and similar technologies.

• Must be able to work UK office hours

• Excellent command of English reading, writing and speaking

• Must be comfortable working as a contractor
