About the Responsibilities:

* Preparation of accounts (including limited company accounts, management accounts, partnership and sole trade accounts) to be reviewed by Managers/Directors

* Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc

* Preparation and submission of VAT, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns to HMRC

* Submission of annual Confirmation Statements to Companies House

* Assistance with preparation of year end statutory accounts

* Helping with the production of monthly management accounts and other ad hoc financial reporting

* A range of other ad hoc duties to help support the team and our clients

About the Applicant:

* Part-qualified (or graduate) with previous experience of working within practice

* Self-driven, results orientated and with a positive outlook

* Have a strong desire to learn and develop

* Have good communication skills

* Have strong IT skills with accounting software experience (must also be competent in Excel)
