Main duties of the job
This post is for a whole-time clinical fellowship in Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapy within the Department of Haematological Medicine at King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust. This post will focus on all aspects of transplant and cell therapy with a view to enhancing the skills of Transplant Physicians in accordance with FACT-JACIE accreditation standards. The post is a non-training post and does not attract a training number /NTN in Haematology. It would however be an ideal opportunity to acquire supervised supplementary training in transplantation. Appointees will be encouraged to participate in in teaching and clinical research as per the interests of the post-holder. . The appointee must have (or be eligible for) GMC registration, have prior haematology experience and higher specialist training in haematology is desirable. A medical degree or diploma from a recognised UK or overseas University or Institution is required.).
