AI Engineers & Scientists (pipeline)
For over 100 years we have been driving change to defeat diabetes, but we know that what got us here today is not necessarily what will make us successful in the future. We are now transforming our business and taking our expertise into new territories including obesity and rare blood and endocrine diseases.
Our story is one of incredible growth and success, which has culminated in receiving many prestigious awards, such as Best Places to Work and Vitality – Britain’s Healthiest Workplace.
The position
Would you like to join a growing community of AI Engineers, ML Scientists, and Platform Architects working on cutting-edge innovation across Novo Nordisk? This is an open pipeline for multiple current and upcoming positions in AI & Machine Learning, across senior-level roles and areas of specialization.
By applying here, you’ll be considered for different roles within AI. Whether you're building GenAI and ML solutions, designing enterprise-scale AI platforms, or pioneering multimodal research in drug discovery: we want to hear from you!
Qualifications
Depending on the specific role, we are seeking candidates with some of the following:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience with biological multimodal learning, including multi-omics, knowledge graphs, computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and data systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development and deployment
- Proficiency in modern development tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of data and AI tools (Vector DBs, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Databricks, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead or collaborate in cross-functional technical teams
About the department
This pipeline supports multiple teams within our organisation, where engineers, scientists, and architects come together to shape the future of AI at Novo Nordisk. We work in a fully cloud-native environment with technologies like Databricks, Azure, and AWS, and we move with agility, curiosity, and purpose. Here, collaboration goes beyond job titles: bridging pharma, biology, data, and software to make real impact. Our mission is bold but simple: #BringDataToLife for science, for patients, for tomorrow.
