Project Coordinator

Due to an ever-increasing workload, the Offshore Delivery Directorate within SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator (6-month Fixed Term Contract) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will provide essential coordination and support across the Eastern Green Link portfolio, helping ensure successful delivery of key offshore transmission projects. You will

• Manage the project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and dealing with external supplier queries.
• Coordinate and prepare project related meetings, making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.
• Support the project team to meet Project Governance milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate all project reporting and presentation packs - making sure these are produced on time and to a high-quality standard.

  Excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is a busy one and will allow you an opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders and project teams.
• A keen eye for detail, and an ability to prioritise workload, incorporating demanding deadlines. This includes the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
• A proven ability to problem solve and be able to prioritise and work in the most efficient and collaborative way. This will require excellent communication skills.
• Experience in managing project finances will be beneficial
• A Sound understanding and experience of working with multiple software packages and systems.
