ABOUT THE ROLE
JOB TITLE: International B2B and Trade Business Development Manager
LOCATION: London (hybrid)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY RANGE: up to £40k (£64k OTE)
What you'll do:
Be the pioneer of our Trade Channel in our .COM, English speaking markets. These markets include the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Nordics, Netherlands and Denmark, Portugal and Eastern Europe. WeRoad was born as a DTC company and we are now committed to expand and start making strides in the trade space. You will be responsible for the execution of the trade strategy including scouting, lead generation, deal funneling/management, negotiating/closure, the entire operational set up
Own and develop our B2B channel across all .COM English speaking markets focusing on welfare/employee/discount platforms, B2B/C partnerships, affiliation programs for external communities and creators, company retreats
Lead end-to-end business development cycles, from lead generation to closing and post-deal account management
Build and maintain a strong partner network, with an emphasis on recurring business and long-term strategic relationships
Create and manage scalable, tech-enabled sales funnels, leveraging automation and AI-based tools
Represent WeRoad at events, and networking opportunities, becoming a recognisable face in the travel and startup ecosystem
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Ops) to shape go-to-market strategies and new launches in the .COM territory
Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting and KPIs tracking to ensure business development efforts are aligned with company goals
What we’re looking for:
3-5 years’ experience in Travel trade channel with an established network worldwide
Experience in B2B business development or partnerships roles in the .COM territory, ideally in distribution/affiliation contexts
Experience in a fast-paced, travel, B2B SaaS or scale-up environment, with an ability to thrive in an agile and results-driven setting
Native or fluent English - impeccable communication and negotiation skills in both
Deep knowledge of the trade industry in the travel space
Knowledge of B2B funnel management , automation tools, and a modern sales tech stack, including AI-driven lead generation and CRM usage
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, pipelines and tasks simultaneously with high autonomy and efficiency
Strong leadership presence: you’re charismatic, people-savvy, and can influence stakeholders at all levels
