What we need

As a Midweight Digital Designer, you will deliver world-class visual design. We are looking for someone who excels in motion design and has an integrated toolkit of skills that can elevate an overall project. You will share your infectious enthusiasm and digital design principles with the rest of the team and have a meticulous approach to craft and innovation.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with creative teams, is curious about different cultures, and is interested in global brands.

Key responsibilities

• You will be a dedicated midweight designer who is comfortable working as part of a team and on your own.
• You will be an integral part of the team, working alongside and supporting our Design Director and other members of the Creative and Design department.
• You will work across various projects, from concept to delivery across digital comms & campaigns, social, motion, and experiential projects.
• You will use your knowledge of the latest technology and innovations trends across all digital platforms to collaborate with the wider team when generating ideas and creative solutions.
• You will thrive in a collaborative environment working amongst a group of creatives, strategists, and designers. You’ll collaborate closely with art directors, copywriters, and other members of the design department to produce work that’s visually compelling, brand-appropriate, and digitally progressive across multiple brands and projects.
• You’ll be expected to take ownership of briefs from concept through to execution, presenting your ideas with clarity and design thinking.

About you

You are a strong visual designer with an understanding of designing for digital. You will have experience as a digital designer within an agency environment.

You will also…

• Be fluent in After Effects and motion design at a mid-level
• Show a genuine interest in interaction and animation, and the ability to display these decisions through software such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and XD
• Have a passion for social & understanding of changing trends, technology, and innovation across digital and social platforms
• Be comfortable concepting, or working alongside a creative team to concept and storyboard for through the line or 360 campaigns
• Demonstrate versatility to design for a diverse set of clients and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Be capable of managing both large- and small-scale projects from start to completion. You will be working on projects from initial brainstorming through to final execution.
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable working on pitches, creating presentations, generating ideas, and prototypes
• Bring inspiration and guidance to those in the team looking to upskill their digital repertoire

It’s a bonus if you have

• Figma experience
• Experience in Adobe Animate / Google Studio
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D / Spark AR
