Geography Teacher - Ealing, London - ASAP Start

A large, high-achieving secondary school based in Ealing is currently seeking a Geography Teacher to join them on a long-term basis , starting as soon as possible . This is a full-time role , but the school is open to considering part-time applicants . Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm , and the role will run until at least July 2026 . The position will be paid in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS pay scale.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5, ensuring students of all abilities can access and enjoy the subject.

• Encourage critical thinking, geographical enquiry, and real-world application of geographical skills.

• Monitor student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.

• Maintain a well-organised and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and respect.

• Contribute to the wider school community, including trips, clubs, and cross-curricular initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in Geography or a related subject

• Excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge

• Ability to motivate and inspire students at all levels

• Collaborative, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards
