Contract: Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am-16:00pm
Salary: £500-£600 per week

Whilst supporting academic growth in learners, you will also give yourself the opportunity to find out whether teaching Is the right thing for you – if it is, progression opportunities include salaried routes into teaching from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

As an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in your subject area specialism
• Provide one-to-one and small group academic support in your subject specialism
• Help pupils stay engaged and on track with their learning
• Assist with Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group university applications
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school life

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed as an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor, you should have:

• A degree 2:1 or higher in any subject area from Oxford, Cambridge or a Russell Group university

• A proactive attitude combined with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for learning

• A genuine interest in working with young people
• Withold high standards and expectations
• An interest in potentially training as a teacher in the future
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
