Maternity Nurse

Duration: 6–8 months, although an initial 3-month commitment can be considered
Salary: £450 per 12-hours (depending on experience) A private UHNW family based in Knightsbridge are seeking two highly experienced Maternity Nurses to provide newborn care from the end of November 2026.
The family’s preferred arrangement is to appoint two Maternity Nurses working 12-hour shifts, providing 24-hour support, seven days per week: • 1 x Day Maternity Nurse – 12-hour shift
• 1 x Night Maternity Nurse – 12-hour shift Alternatively, the family would also consider two Maternity Nurses working a 24-hour rota, potentially on a 4 days on / 4 days off basis. This is a live-out position and, under the preferred day/night arrangement, candidates must already be based locally in London. Should the family proceed with the 24-hour rota option, a bed can be provided within the baby’s room while on duty. The family are ideally looking for an initial commitment of 6–8 months but would also be happy to consider candidates available for an initial three-month placement.
The successful candidates will be impeccably presented, fluent in English and highly experienced within UHNW private households. A British-trained Maternity Nurse or candidate with Norland training or an equivalent high level of professional childcare training would be strongly preferred. Extensive maternity nursing and newborn experience is essential, along with a calm, discreet and confident approach. Previous experience working with Middle Eastern families would be particularly desirable. Interviewing now for a late November start.
