Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging Maths lesson plans that meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to facilitate growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching expertise.
  • Promote a love for Mathematics through innovative teaching methods and resources.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Dedication to professional growth and ongoing learning in the field of Mathematics education.
  • Genuine passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for Mathematics.
