The Role
As an Administrator , you will provide essential administrative support to the regional operations team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day management of highway and surface transport activities. You will assist with coordination of works, document control, data entry, and liaison with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating systems, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring correspondence and documentation are managed efficiently. Your role will be key in supporting engineers and operational staff, helping projects and maintenance activities run to programme and to the required standards.
About You
We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrator with strong attention to detail and an interest in working within a civil engineering or highways environment. You’ll have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and confidence working with a range of stakeholders across London’s transport network.
Some essentials include:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good written and verbal communication
Experience using Microsoft Office and record management systems
Awareness of health and safety responsibilities (desirable)
