Children's Developmental Gymnastics Instructor in Shepherd's Bush (Westfield London) - Leading Children's Movement Provider
£13,250-£19,875 (pro rata, based on 20-30 hours per week) + performance bonuses (FTE £26,500)
Location: Shepherd's Bush, W12, based at Westfield London.
Our client is a leading children's developmental gymnastics and movement provider, with a proven track record of helping children build physical literacy and confidence from as young as one year old right through to age twelve. They're looking for a Children's Developmental Gymnastics Instructor to join their team as a permanent member of staff, taking the lead on classes for some of their youngest and most impressionable age groups.
This is a role for someone who genuinely loves working with little ones and wants to see that passion make a real difference. You'll be hosting a variety of gymnastics and movement sessions, from tumbling and beams to bars and creative movement, all designed to help children develop coordination, balance, and self-belief in a fun, non-competitive setting. You'll also get to know the families you work with, feeding back on progress and helping parents understand just how far their child has come.
On offer is a basic salary with room to increase through performance-based bonuses, a genuinely fun and supportive working environment, and clear progression routes into a variety of roles within the business.
Working pattern: 20-30 hours per week, with the potential to increase to full-time by the end of 2026. Weekend availability on either a Saturday or Sunday is essential, and some evening work is also required.
Key responsibilities:
Class delivery: Host a range of gymnastics and movement classes, including tumbling, beams, bars, and creative movement, with a particular focus on younger children.
Parent engagement: Work closely with parents to feed back on and advise on their children's progress and development.
Centre standards: Support with general admin and operations duties and, helping keep the centre to an impeccably high standard in collaboration with the team.
About you:
Gymnastics background: You have experience in gymnastics or a similar discipline, whether that's teaching, coaching, or simply having taken part yourself.
Early years experience: You've worked with infant or early years children before and understand what makes that age group tick and can bring energy and enthusiasm to your work.
Customer service: You bring experience from a customer-facing role and know how to build genuine rapport with parents and children alike.
Flexibility: You're happy working evenings and weekends, and you bring energy and a can-do attitude to everything you do.
