A prestigious Independent school in Harrow is seeking a scholarly and intellectually curious Religious Studies Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026. This position is designed for a practitioner who thrives on high-level theological and philosophical debate with ambitious young scholars.

Responsibilities
Teach Religious Studies and Philosophy across KS3 to KS5, focusing on rigorous academic analysis and critical thinking.
Lead scholarly discussion groups and mentor students for university entrance in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).
Foster a culture of mutual respect and open inquiry through inclusive and challenging lesson delivery.
Contribute to the school’s broad enrichment programme, linking theology to modern social justice and global affairs.
Work collaboratively with the Humanities team on interdisciplinary projects and symposia.
Requirements
Degree in Theology, Philosophy, or a related humanities field.
PGCE or QTS.
Proven track record of success at A-Level.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits
Full-time, permanent contract.
