POSITION OVERVIEW

Please note this is an FTC for 12 months, - within our London region

We are seeking a creative field visual merchandiser for our Brand Image Coordinator Maternity Cover vacancy.

The role is to ensure the implementation of the Ralph Lauren seasonally visual merchandising guidelines, executing mannequins, interiors and window displays, that enhance/create the best customer experience, protect and promote our visual Ralph Lauren global DNA and support/drive sales within our own brought stores and/or our shop in shop (wholesale)- within our London region .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note this is an FTC for 12 months, - within our London region

Key Responsibilities

Be knowledgeable with our internal seasonally visual guidelines and make sure they implemented within your region

Manage and implement seasonal updates/product pushes for each shop/ shop within shop within your region

Create visually appealing merchandising that enhances Ralph Lauren DNA and maximizes sales potential

Keep in communication and partnering with the relevant teams with changeover dates/delivery status/capabilities of your region

Collaborate with store teams to maintain visual standards and merchandising

Train store teams on basic merchandising principles, maintenance, internal seasonal guidelines and provide seasonal training for the teams within your region

Create and develop all seasonal floor plans

Planning and implementing any new store opening, if scheduled within your region

Enhance sales through visual merchandising that is in line with the companys strategy

Reporting & Communication

Utilise sales figures to support your visual merchandising

Feedback callouts and opportunities to the relevant internal departments

Communicate with relevant departments/people using Ralph Lauren Store visit report sent weekly on a Friday

Travel and expenses reported on time and accurately

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Skills

Previous experience in Visual Merchandising within a retail environment

Strong understanding of retail principles and merchandising techniques

Strong communications skills, both verbal and written in English

Strong organizational skills especially in time management

Attention to detail

Willingness to travel outside of their allocated region

F lexible hours especially early mornings

Requirements include moving merchandise and deco/props stand for extended periods

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Design or related field

Experience with luxury or fashion retail brands
