Every 24 hours we expect to receive around 2,500 pallets from the on-site manufacturing operation, directly into the ASRS, as well as handling around 200 vehicle movements. Inbound vehicles arrive from our other factory sites, with palletised goods which must be put away promptly and safely into the ASRS and accurately recorded. At the same time, orders of full pallets will be pre-assembled into gravity racking and side-loaded on third party haulage vehicles, for dispatch to our customers and other sites across our network

With SAP PM, you’ll plan and track your work to deliver results that hit efficiency, yield, and quality targets.

Quality, Safety & Environment

You’ll champion safety, quality, and sustainability every day. From carrying out QESH checks and maintaining strict hygiene standards, to promoting a zero-accident culture and supporting recycling, you’ll help create a workplace that’s safe, compliant, and future-focused.

Standards & Continuous Improvement

You’ll set high standards and raise them even higher, supporting facilities, ensuring audit readiness, and sharing best practices that drive ongoing improvements across the site.

Teamwork & Development

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, delivering clear shift handovers and contributing to pre-shift briefings that keep everyone aligned. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring apprentices and supporting colleagues, helping to build skills across the team.

Making an Impact

Most of all, you’ll bring energy, adaptability, and commitment to achieving our manufacturing goals, while making a real difference to the people and processes around you.

Skills & Essentials:

We’re seeking an apprentice-trained or qualified Engineer to join our team.

Beyond that, we’re open-minded. The following skills and experience would be highly beneficial, but we’re happy to invest in training for the right person:

  • BOAS qualification (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme)

  • Strong task prioritisation skills

  • HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering

  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification

  • Electrical qualification

  • Experience in large operational facilities, ideally within food manufacturing or distribution environments

  • Background in managing external contractors and suppliers

Application

If this role is of interest to you please upload a recent copy of your CV and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will be in touch.

We believe that equal opportunities means inclusion, diversity and fair treatment for all.

As we have expanded recently into alcohol ready to drink Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola we recognise that some people prefer not to participate in alcohol related sales, interactions, or promotions. If that’s true for you – please raise this with your talent acquisition contact who will advise you on whether this role includes activities related to our alcohol portfolio.

We aim to make our recruitment process as comfortable and accessible as possible and would appreciate it if you would advise us of any particular requirements, adjustments or requests you may have to help us ensure that your experience is enjoyable.
