Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity Our client is a specialist provider of high-quality office furniture solutions, delivering and installing furniture for commercial customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Driver / Furniture Installer to join their professional installations team. The Role As a Driver / Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture at customer sites. Working as part of an experienced team, you will ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. You will be expected to utilise your installation expertise to overcome challenges on-site while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver and install office furniture at customer locations.
Assist with route planning and daily delivery schedules.
Ensure delivery notes and associated paperwork are completed accurately.
Carry out furniture installations to a high professional standard.
Apply problem-solving skills to overcome installation challenges on-site.
Liaise with customers and internal teams regarding project progress and any issues.
Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure fuel and AdBlue levels are monitored and replenished.
Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and site-specific regulations.
Support the wider team with any additional duties required by management.About You Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years' office furniture installation experience (essential).
Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with a clean driving record.
Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Strong knowledge of furniture assembly and installation techniques.
Ability to interpret site-specific requirements and work safely.
Good understanding of Risk Assessments and safe working practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Reliable, trustworthy, and professional approach to work.Desirable Forklift Truck (FLT) qualification.
IOSH Managing Safely certification.
Experience working on commercial office fit-out projects.Personal Attributes Team player who can work effectively with colleagues and other departments.
