Science Technician - Dulwich

Role Responsibilities
As a Science Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and setting up materials, equipment, and experiments for practical Science lessons across all key stages.
Supporting teaching staff during lessons to ensure experiments are conducted safely and effectively.
Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment, resources, and chemical stock.
Monitoring safety procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assisting with department projects, demonstrations, and science events.
Carrying out routine maintenance of laboratory apparatus and reporting faults or repairs as required.
Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure continuity of lessons.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory environment.
Knowledge of health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations.
Practical laboratory skills and technical competence.
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good communication and teamwork skills to support staff and students effectively.
